I love white pumpkins & just pumpkins in general but I love pottery barns pumpkins this year they are fantastic! My husband lost his job recently so I cannot be purchasing these beauty's this year not that I need too lol I have plenty already, but its so nice to dream! I love what PB did with the front door of the house I love the crows and the lanterns. I have one lantern like the ones on display but wouldn't it be cool to have tons on the walk way like that for a party? If only... lol. I love fall and well the holidays in general are always so exciting I love the decorations!

ALSO we just moved into a new place that's more north end of Richland. I would show pictures but there is still so much in boxes and very few things actually hung up! But I can tell you its a duplex house (look up Richland WA. "ABC houses") a "B" house its yellow with white trim around the windows and has a huge front and side yard with a giant shade tree that's parallel to a drive way up the side of the house. Its got tech 3 bed. 2 upstairs with wood floor and a bathroom across the hallway. I love that our house it is not a two story home! Ahh I was so tired of that! Anyways, we have a family room downstairs that we keep the TV and our old couches down there and the third bed is more like Adelynns new play room with a big window :)

Happy 2nd Birthday!

We visited the birds and fed them some bread, adelynn loved that so much & after ward we got baskin robins :) At about 6 we ate at red robin where adelynn had a great time eating dinner with some of her relatives and surrounded herself with plenty of balloons! Then after dinner we went for a quiet walk to the temple grounds; it was peaceful and sweet. Adelynn had a good time pointing out all the different plants and rocks she saw. It was a great day all in all.

Hey everyone its been awhile! I hope you have all been well and allot of good has come your way sense the last time I posted.

I guess I'll start by telling you something about me...
I am an emotional person it affects everything I do.
I don't always like that about myself, in fact most times I despise it but I'm realizing is Its part of who I am and maybe its not always such a bad thing if used in more possitive ways? As my mother and also my dear sister in law would describe, I'm a tender hearted gal. I read the other day Busy Bee Laurens blog, she had a post where she talked about herself in a very similar way, I found it interesting though that she described it as her "gift" I had never thought of it that way before. It shead some light on me, helped me feel less like a silly problematic woman. lol
Anyways the point that I'm trying but have been failing to come to is,
I've had allot of struggles in my life namely, Depression, Adhd that have greatly affect my life and made things just so much tougher PLUS Ive always been a introverted, in my own little world, emotional, sensitive kind of girl but I'm thinking now that maybe that does not make me weak? Totally strange? Maybe its making me into something better? Anyways Just been on my mind. Totally random self help talk.

Also I want to share why I have not been blogging or emailing... I don't really care who knows at this point but my husband & I have been going through some big bumps in our marriage and its kept me from pretty much doing anything online that's worthwhile. But being even more honest, when I could get on, I just didn't care to share anything. Do you know the feeling? I think particularly it was hard because I still needed to sort out my feelings from all the things I was going through and also because I was just too upset with myself and our situation to think about opening up. I just want to say, thank heaven we are doing better and getting help that we have needed, and we are getting on the right track to having a more happy loving marriage.

I wanted to officially start over on my blogging.
Being as ADD as I am its hard to keep up with every single day but I wanted this time around to be more about me and be about more important things than just movies, or clothes or the next home decor.
I am an LDS Woman and I want to talk about my life as such, and things that can bless and inspire others to come unto Christ.

Ill begin with a little story... So I had my husband give me a blessing last Sunday. Bbecause I felt the spirit at church tell me so. It reached out to me very, very quietly that I needed to have my husband give me blessing. I had no idea why but I asked him anyways. I like getting priesthood blessings so I went with it.

anyways I wont tell you all of it because its sacred but I will tell you that it went something like this... I was struggling & was treating my husband like he didn't know anything and was not listening to him or Heavenly Father. I was selfish, rude, unkind, envious and focused on worldly possessions and attaining them at all costs. It was sad. a&` It made heavenly father upset and sad. He told me this and gave me reminder and a warning that I needed to depart from my ways because they were unrighteous as of late and that he wanted me to repent and come back to him so that I can agian partake of the blessings he has in store for me and wants to give me if I would but just have a little faith.

I was shaking in my boots because like most people I didn't realize I was "that bad" I took a hard look at my life and realized the truth of the words said to me and realized how much my Heavenly Father knows me and cares and how right he is! I realized right then how much I appreciate my Savior Jesus for his sacrifice for my sins. I now understand and I am more grateful for the opportunity that I have to repent! How awful and scary life would be if we couldn't repent and try again! There would be no Hope! I am so Glad that Christ gave my life hope and I am so grateful for this!

I am Trying to make a Life Changes right now, so I am currently under construction and you will hear from me soon I promise!

In the parking lot off to the side of the entrance to the store you could have a photo opt moment with "Santa's Reindeer" Before you went inside to shop and visit Santa.

The whole store had Christmas tree after Christmas tree of over the top decorations and you could just shop literally from each tree around this huge store!

They had a tree in Red and black/white colors with Damask I was in heaven! Of course I didn't have my camera with me too! Dang it!

Can't wait to go back for next years Displays!

Christmas is Just around the corner

I cannot believe its December already!

Such a beautiful time of year in Washington there is snow and ice sickles and and crisp mornings and the beautiful Christmas lights at night in the town parks...

So far this December

I've been stringing up lights and hanging sparkly bulbs on the tree...

& filling my jars with sparkly gems and yummy candies....

But in all the excitement and sparkles I think sometimes I forget what its all about....

Who's Birthday is coming up? What are we all celebrating?

I read in the ensign that I received yesterday, a section where the apostles from around the world told of their families Christmas traditions, I read one that stuck out to me about how they all wrote a letter to the savior and put it on their Christmas tree each year as a gift to him.

I thought that was particularly sweet and thoughtful.

It got me thinking about what gifts I wanted to give this year...

& I thought to myself,

Have I

considered what the savior would want?

after all it is his birthday...

So I'm trying to do just that this year.
I'm going to try and spread the spirit of CHRISTmas into my families life and those around me.

Ok so I have been camera-less! and its been so frustrating for me I completely lost motivation to blog... although that being the case I did want to share some pictures I snapped on my Dads old film camera he gave to me. I heart that thing so much, especially because it belonged to my Dad but it can be a hassle for me. I have to go and get the film done... Oh remember to buy film... Ok wait how do I load film manually again? Duddee.

& ok lets just face it I'm lazy when it comes to that sort of thing so just saying its difficult for me sometimes,

but it shouldn't be because its always so fun to do once I get started.

I really do love it, just gotta keep reminding myself...

A couple of pictures from my Trip down the coast this summer...

Seattle...

Oregon coast....

So I know I have not blogged in a while, (ok in months really) I sort-of took a vacation from blogging this last summer. Allot of things went down for me, while I've been away from you. I stayed busy pretty almost the whole time. I can say this though, that I don't have a camera any more (its busted) so Its going to be hard for me to get pictures on here. Sry about that, but I'll try my best to tell you all about what I've been up to!

I was in Arizona for over a month.

I know, I know a long time!

Well let me tell you what was taking me so long! haha ok,

so I was on the road for nearly two weeks with my parents traveling and such

and when we finally made it to AZ,

I didn't really have any plans I sort of just hung out for like a week.

Then my awesome and amazing sister in law Heather came down to AZ to visit her momma too and I stopped by their house, because I was missing me some Heather and scrap booking too... lol

so anyways while I was hanging out, She told me all about this "HGC" Diet and how I could lose like 20 pounds in like two weeks.

I was sceptical diets are not my thing, but I saw how amazing Heather looked and how healthy they were eating, & I knew I needed to do this too. I woulden't be able to show my face, I thought,

if healther went down there to lose weight and I diden't do anything other than visit!

I couldn't pass this opportunity up!

So I bought the "HGC" Homoeopathic drops a couple of days later and then started about two days later after that.

Somehow in all my talks at home about how awesome this diet was going to be for me,

my sister decided that she wanted to go for it too.

So I we both did this diet together for two more weeks.

It was so stinkin difficult for me for about 5 days, I felt ravanous and then after that it was easy,

to really truly just diet and not dwell on how nice it would be to eat at tia rosas or something lol

I had all kinds of cravings and I felt like I emotionally just wanted to eat.

I never knew before that I was a "snacker" but I was! ha ha

The thing about the diet is that its a cleanse too, so I was killing off yeast & all the bad toxins in my body that get stored in Fat.

SO That was a big plus for me in doing the diet, because I really wanted more than anything just to be more healthy regardless if I lost any weight.

It was hard challenge, but now I know I can commit to something really tough.

It was a good experience to be able to say I did it!

I lost 21 pounds and I felt so much better and had more energy!

I would recommend it to anyone looking to lose weight and get healthy too!

Anyways that's part one of my summer!

Anyways It was a great start for me on the road to healthy living!

Been world traveling

So Adelynn and I have just been little world travelers in the last couple of weeks!

We have been going, going, gone sense just before the fourth of July.

My Family and I (parents and brothers and sisters) went on a week and a half road trip through the west coast and northwestern coast.

We started out at my house in Rich land Washington then to Seattle, next, Portland OR then took the coastal highway all down the Oregon coast and then made it down to the california coast to San Fransisco then to Tahoe.

Then on to the Salt Flats of Nevada to Salt lake Utah, to Manti Utah to pick up my moms dog, Tilly at my Grandmas house had a nice visit for a day, then hit the road again & made it all the way to Mesa Where I'm currently parked and just having a ball! Wheew!

anyways on a more serious note....

I need to say that,

I love being home with my family.

It always lifts my spirits and makes me feel a little more like, well... me.

Life has taken me allot of places in the past year, I have not been home much & I think was having a little bit of an identity crisis with all that's gone on. But I'm telling you what though,

Its been so nice to be back to the place where I was born and raised where I've had most of my best memories and I have my family around to support me. Its helped me so much.

I feel like I'm powering back up or something,

"recharging my batteries", so to speak.

Its Ahhhh so nice.

I'm trying a new thing for my blog I hope you all bear with me on this experiment. I love seeing beautiful fashion and sometimes I would really like an excuse to talk about it! I know that I don't have a budget for couture or even for a very extensive wardrobe right now but Id like to think that I have pretty good taste over all even if I'm not the one wearing the couture.

I think my style right now is more sophisticated and dressy but if you like more casual they have a whole line of more casual dresses on their web site!

So these are all pictures of what my week looked like... i love our neighbors they love to come over and play with Adelynn Its good for me too b/c I get a little bit of a break :) Also Beautiful blue Sky's after weeks of grey! That's something to celebrate people!
I love going down to the boat launch park and just being by the river It makes me happy, dudee i don't know what I would do if this place had no river it would be lame, I just know it. Oh and I threw in a picture of the Spokane river I went there a couple of weeks ago, the picture was just too pretty to pass up. Its the one with the rapids! :)

Also memorial weekend we Got a WII & a TV Stand for our tv and Wii and DvD Etc.

I love it! I love the fact that we can get Net flicks now & I did not even know that we could do that before we bought it and also Its black and sleek and pretty! Also I love the wii sports sword fighting, I've been playing that allot in my spare time. Its allot of fun!

We stayed one night at this really neat antique hotel Its the kind of place you would have your wedding at and take your pictures at.

It was really beautiful there. Glad we stayed!

Random street in Hood river, which by the way was where our hotel was located.

as you can see its very cute little town, we had fun walking the streets that evening :)

We ate that night at This place, it was pretty busy we kind of came in at a bad time, but we didn't care much we just had fun drinking izzys and bottled root beer and talking while we waited a long time for our food.

We both had this elk burger lol I know! So romantic but srsly after how late it was, we didn't care anymore and it sounded so good! & it was!

WE had taken pictures before we went to dinner, these are they...

The next day it was on to Portland and to my surprise we stopped at this place...

More than worth the stop!! I think It was my favorite place we went the day and maybe the whole trip! Thanks joel for such a great day!

Having a slow week

The Important Things in Life

Ok, so anyone that knows me will know that this is a little off tack for me. I don't really like typing things out like this and making it public, it's not really my style, it's too impersonal...That being said, I have to come out and say it, I'm doing this to show gratitude. Not like the, "Hey look at what I did when I told someone thank you." kind of gratitude, I mean like the "Ok Lord, you were right, Thanks."

Anyway, so here I am. I have a bacterial infection, my wife is sick, and my daughter has a viral respiratory infection, yet in my heart there is only gratitude. Why? For Heavenly Messengers, for the Holy Ghost, and for the Power, the Authority to act for God given to men. I have been able to give blessing to my family, literally lay my hands on their heads, and have words imparted to me from the Holy Ghost, telling people things through me that I never would have known without heavenly assistance. I have seen diseases rebuked, ailments healed, and little children delivered from pain into the sweetest sleep through that power. It is literal, it is real, and more of a force that we can recognize and feel than anything that we consider "real" in this life. Take a look around you. What do you see? How many things are just machinery, cold, and lifeless? How many things in your house do you invest time in that have no life of their own, I.E. Books, Movies, Chores, Money, Sports, Scrapbooking? What for? Why do we give ourselves to these things with no life, when a Living God is here moving among us in power? Isn't it time we unplug and choose to be different? Machines, and other physical things, we can see, but THEY can't FEEL, they can't know us, but we ignore quite often the Being that is, or can be there with us always.....God. He feels, He knows us, He is the very best friend we can ever have, yet as the scriptures say, we sell Him for things of no worth. So this is me, Saying Thank you to God. He lives, He's real, he as servants on earth today that are more needed to be listened too than ever before. He is our lighthouse for those of us foundering in the sea of wickedness in this world, the thing that we can look to to guide us right. He will never leave us, forsake us or disappoint us. I'm ging to work go give up things that aren't the most important to me, and live in the now with my wife and beautiful daughter. Thanks Lord.

I bought this headband for her at this cute boutique at Dana park while I was in mesa last and It was so big on her then she couldn't wear it but other day I pulled it out and low and behold it fit! So I was really excited & had to take pictures!

I recently decided that I wanted to change how I ate to a more natural organic diet.

This week has been hard for me, because Joel and I have been sick and Adelynn is pretty sick with the congestive virus stuff that's going around. So I have not thought much about what I was eating I just ate because I was hungry and missed meals.

So... you know how that goes, I ate really crappy

junk, fast meals.

I am trying to make myself cook more, I really don't enjoy it much most days,

but you know its something you just gotta do or you end up eating badly

or spending a fortune on eating out.

Last week though was really good, I brought rice milk and organic soups and salads.

& I had never had them before really, I loved it!

I especially liked the vanilla rice milk,

its way better than regular old dairy milk!

Funny story...

Before I was pregnant I hated dairy milk I thought it tasted sour except for the chocolate milk, its alway been awesome. But now that I'm not pregnant any longer It tastes sour again.

Wierd.

so for me this rice milk stuff is really working out.

Anyway...

I just read this article on food consumption and factory farms, while I was watching Adee sleep at my side, (I have to keep a good eye on her while shes congested)

I really believe what was said by this man. Its a great article.

& not only this particular article but I watched Oprah the other day and she was talking about this stuff! I think she called it a 'food revolution'.

I really liked that.

& I also saw a commercial on abc that was all about "food revolution"

& teaching kids to eat better! you can check it out here

It sounds awesome, I am really excited about watching!

Anyway I'm not perfect, I mess up but I really want to have a lifestyle change here.

I don't want to have disease in my life that I could have prevented by eating better.

I just want to "run and not be weary, Walk and not be faint"

I love the word of wisdom, because its just that, wisdom! knowledge!

on how to best take care of this beautiful body you were given.

Nobodys perfect. Nobody eats amazing all the time, but I think its good to be more aware of what you eat and what you use...

long time coming

So I've found it very difficult lately to sit down and write

anything about whats been going on in my personal life.

I've had allot on my mind though.

Its just been sort of brewing for the last couple of weeks...

SO Joel and I finally figured out what we want to do for school and when and where we want to go and we have a real plan. I'm changing how I'm eating & living to a more organic natural living kind of lifestyle. It makes me feel good to know that I am giving my body a chance to be all it can be, and that I am giving the environment a chance also.

I am starting figure out what I really want to be in life...

I know with out a doubt in my mind, that I want to be with Joel forever. He is everything I want and need. & I can't live with out him. ♥
I know being a mother is so fun and so amazing. Its a big responsibility and can be frustrating and stressful but its so worth it all. I love my little cootie girl so much. She's everything.
I know that I brought my first set of pencils in, I don't even know how long the other night, I can't wait to get going on a new picture. Its been too long.

I know that I am hoping to take some riding lessons this summer I can't wait to get back into the saddle!

I know that I am looking forward, for the first time, to when I can go back to school.

Well... besides my Baby Adelynn and Joel my Favorite read in the whole world.

The book is by Mitch Albom
titled: The five people you meet in Heaven

Let me tell you why I love this book...

I love this book because it talks about how everyone in this world is connected even if we don't realize it. I love what this particular paragraph says about life and death, it really makes you think.

"Do you ever wonder why people gather when others die?
Why do people feel they should? Its because the human spirit knows, deep down, that all lives intersect. That death doesn't just take someone, it misses someone else, and in the small distance between being taken and being missed, lives are changed."

I had never thought about it that way... to me it makes sense.
Birth, death, life, All have a connection it has a
balance.

It goes on in the chapter to an example of "Eddie" the main character. Eddie is brought face to face with a man in heaven that he barely remembers from his childhood and is not sure why,
that now in the after life he must meet with him.

As he speaks with the man Eddie is brought to a remembrance of a what seemed like a small instance to him in his life but was life changing to this man before him.
In this memory eddie was a child throwing a baseball with some friends, but as it so happened on this day, in this memory, he threw it too far and it landed in the street and Eddie being a child, ran after it into on coming traffic & was barely missed by a driver.

Eddie at that exact moment whether he knew it or not had changed another mans life.

Eddie walked away from that, back to his friends with the baseball that he had so carelessly retrieved.
Never understanding or noticing what had happened.

But what had happened to the driver?

What Eddie never noticed was this, that the driver had swerved and missed Eddie and being an old man like he was he had a heart attack from the adrenaline rush of the incident.

He died minutes later.

Eddie then realizes after hearing the mans side of what happned that day, that the person speaking before him is that

old man.
& he must reconcile.

Is it fair what happened?

I love what the old man goes on to say about fairness in life.

"Fairness does not govern life and death. If it did, no good person would ever die young."

As the story progresses the man that Eddie had affected,

forgave him quickly.

And then went on to reminded him that no man is an island.
We all touch one another lives everyday even in small ways.

Nobody is truly alone.

I love that story. As sad as it is, it reminds me that we all have a place and purpose & nothing is exactly random.

& I always feel after reading this book, that I need to look outside myself more and know that what I do affects others for good or for bad. I need to be better. Speak more kind words.

Have a Ford Escape or a Ford that keeps stalling when the car is idling?

Our car keeps having problems when is idling
it sounds like its choking and then dies if we don't give it gas.
I think it could be a vacuum valve broken again, but I wanted to ask around to see if anyone else has had this issue.

This was me

I just want to get to a place where I felt great like in this picture.

This was just after I got married

and I was very fit.

I just want to get back to the days where my face was not

puffy and fat.

I don't care so much about getting into my old size four skirts and pants,

I care more about slimming down

being healthy.

I don't believe in going on crazy diets where you cut out all the things you enjoy eating,

& drink like green tea for like two weeks straight

or no carbs

or only veggies.

That never worked for me the past

I know

It would not work now.

Instead I would like to focus more on just healthy living.

Changing your lifestyle.

You can have those desserts once in a while and breads but

focuing more on eating fruits and veggies,

less sodium and fats.

Our trip to Mesa for Christmas

We were supposed to be flying in to Mesa on Christmas Eve day.

Something I've never done before and will be glad to never do again.

ugh.

Our flight was delayed for like 4 hours!

We were supposed to be in AZ around 5 pm ended up getting to my parents house (with the car ride) around 9:00 pm.

Good thing Aligent air is so cheep!

total lameness.

I just remember how I was dying by the time we got to Mesa I had not had anything to eat for hours and I was really looking forward to the Mex food that was promised.

Yum.

aint no mex food like AZ mex food.

But dang here we were in a flipping airport...

Waiting.

Waiting

I had such a heavy heart from walking around w/ adee trying to keep her happy. How long would this take?

Now their saying Mechanical difficulties?

Possibly a new plane will be flying in for us?

I can't miss out on A Christmas Carol or the Nativity re-enactment!

I was feeling "So poopy" as Joel would say.

I was feeling sorry for myself,

For us.

But Then I remembered that I would get to see my sweet little one year old Nephew Brady and Sarah and Austin and Hallie and Ian.

And they would be seeing our precious little Adee

for the first time too...

I couldn't help but crack a smile at that point.

I started to get excited again...

I guess...

Christmas Eve wasn't going to be a total disaster If I didn't get to eat with everyone or watch the movie and eat sweets or have a re-enactment.

Christmas is about spending time with your families and Remembering our lord.

And even though we had a long day and we missed out on somethings I was just so glad to be home again.

Our Christmas was Awesome/lovely/special.

I'll never forget it.

I feel like I need to talk about whats going on in my life whether its what people want to read or not, I'm doing this for me because I feel its important that I save this for myself.

I've never been one of those people that get inspired by the

New Years Resolutions people try at the beginning of every year.

I've never done them.

Probably never will.

I've always looked at it like this;

That if something needs to change I'll change it when it feels right to me and when I'm willing to do something not by setting a date or waiting for the new year to roll around to do something about it.

like it or no that's how I feel.

Now that we have that Straight, I wanted to say that Joel and I have had many life changing talks recently & we have decided to turn over a new leaf with our relationship, our finances with everything in our lives.

WE are vowing to be more,

Healthy, kind, loving, responsible, honest, reliable, more spiritual people.

Starting with:

-Better church attendance

yes, I myself have struggled with that, not recently but I have in the past year and it does not help Joel to be better when I am doing it.

I love my new calling in primary and it has definitely helped me so much,

but I know I need to work on the desire to go more.

-Budget

Yes Joel and I have struggled to keep afloat many times this last year.

My part being, #1. I get depressed and like to shop or eat out.

# 2. I don't always have sense to wait on buying things.

# 3. I don't like to cook very much.

I'm working on it.

srsly.

-Speaking kind words

Yes for my part, I have a problem with saying whatever comes to my mind when I'm frustrated and I end up putting my foot in my mouth and have much much grief for it later, as I should.

Yes its immature.

& yes I know that,

A little kindness goes a long way.

As my Mom always says.

I just want to say I'm sorry to anyone I've ever done this to sometimes I can be such a drama queen. :(

-Be more prayerful in my decision making.

That a big one for me.

Too often I just go along with whatever someone else wants for me and my family.

Whether it be my husband, parents bro & sisters, my in laws, whatever.

I know there's no limit to how many times you can pray so why don't I always consult with him?

Especially with the big stuff?

This was is my short list of things we are working on as a family

and my own personal struggles I am working on.

I don't say any of these things, to offend anyone or get attention.

That's the last thing I want.

To me its important to write it down and my blog has helped me save my memories and help to get some venting out. Sorry.

I'm sitting here in my Father in laws study listening to my husband and all my in-laws play Wii golf and bowling, while listing to Mo Tab "Away in a Manger."

& Just before that, I was at Target with my Mom in law getting a baby sling for our trip down to Mesa AZ tomorrow.

I am very excited for this trip, I'm not sure I'll be able to sleep tonight.

( not that Adelynn will let me anyways lol)

But as I was listening to my family in the next room I realized that I am going to miss these people so much while I am away.

For so long there, I was home sick and the only thing I really wanted was to see my family in AZ .

I realize now that Its going to be wonderful to see my folks but these are my people here the ones that I see all the time and have been such a support system for us have become my family and I will miss them very much.

Funny how that happens.

I'm feeling that Holiday Spirit...

So happy for Christmas Eve tomorrow,

For good Mexican Food, for watching "Its a wonderful life' and "A Christmas carol" and lets not forget the awesome Glidewell Nativity reenactment.

Good Times will be had, & I can't wait!

To be Feeling that Holiday spirit.

I went back to church today. &

There really could not have been a better day for us to go back.

I loved hearing the holiday carols as I was walking up to the building, they really drew me in.

I was so excited that we got to partake of the sacrament & feel of the holy spirit.

Something I have not experienced in so long; its was sad.

Joel and I also have a new calling in church.

I am glad that we have a calling because to be honest I've never really had one as an adult.

My years of way-ward feelings toward the church and my anxiety never let me fulfill one.

& now that I have the chance again I am so excited!

It was wonderful to teach CTR 6 class today.

Amazing & uplifting to be teaching them about the Savior and his birth.

What a wonderful blessing to be teaching about the single most important event that has ever happened to this world.

Amazing.

ALSO....

Just felt the need to Say that I am a much happier woman as of the last couple of weeks.

I was feeling so depressed this past month...

Not because of the baby, she has made my life worth living & wonderful/awe-inspiring/beautiful.

I was just so tired obviously from the late nights and also from feeling lonely.

I never saw my husband except to switch off with the baby +

My home was always a mess which was a bummer.

I want to give a shout out to the Fauvers for being so helpful the last couple of weeks.

I know I would have never admitted that I needed allot of help,

so I'm glad you came in there and insisted on helping me.

You knew Joel and I needed the rest, needed the company, needed the help.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for opening up your home and your hearts to us at this time when we needed it most.

Thanks for showing us a wonderful example of what it means to have that Christmas spirit of giving and loving our fellow man, the Christ like spirit.

Happy to have those sleepless nights with my little one. She's growing so fast before I know it she will be crawling and then soon after walking! I'm trying so hard to live in the moment with her and take it all in. I just don't want to forget a thing.

The snow has arrived!! Well at least a couple of inches...

buts that's allot to an Arizona girl and its enough to make me excited! :)

This is Joel's pinkie finger, as you can tell it has pins stuck in all directions at the tip and what seems to be a very shiny fingernail. that's foil to cover the lost nail and stitches and pins to hold together the crushed bone in his finger tip. Gross.

Joel had his finger tip crushed and partially severed nine days ago while working some overtime. He was in a elevator, you know the kind with the steel doors that you pull down yourself? yeah it had a malfunction and the doors can slamming down when he and his co-worker were trying close it up and obv caught Joel's finger in the process.

Joel had to have his finger tip sewn back on with pins put in place for the bone that was crushed that Friday night. & yes he went under for this.

Funny thing is the accident happened that Friday morning and none of the many, many doctors and emergency room doctors he visited wanted to keep the end of his finger but he ended up getting referred to a orthopedic specialist who saved his finger and now after nine days and one amazing surgery later he's starting to get feeling back into his finger and slowly moving it.

on a better note....

Adee is Doing a bit better she was put on a special kind of formula that is called smililac allimentum and its super expensive but has made allot of difference! She is now over twelve pounds and is not near as fussy or gassy as she was just days ago! We are not sure if its a quick fix but I definitely think its a good start! Allimentum formula is a formula for sensitive stomachs that have a hard time breaking down proteins and its hypoallergenic because often times there are food allergy's as well with babies that are prescribed it.

I am so excited for the holidays!
Especially sense Thanksgiving is tomorrow yay! & I can officially start counting down the days for Christmas and AZ while I'm stuffing myself with stuffing and turkey yay! Anyways I guess the real point in this post is I wanted to express my gratitude sense that is the theme for this month and blogger!

I am grateful for all the many many changes in my life that have happened to me this year.
It has not been easy, its been one a very hard row to hoe but I've come through it and learned allot about myself and in particular Joel and I learned allot about what we are capable of as a couple.

I am grateful for my daughter
Its been a relief that she has been healthy and strong despite all the trials mom went through to have her brought into this life.

I am thankful for families.
even though my family is a thousand miles away I've never felt closer.
I'm thankful for the family that I've had right here in Washington.
I'm thankful for the generosity, kindness and friendship shown to Joel & I. & also thanks for sticking with me personally even when I was a grouch. (aka pregnant autumn in all her fierceness. )

I am grateful for my blog.
Silly as it sounds, when I moved up to Washington I did not have many people to hang out with, besides my wonderful brothers and sisters in law (which was great and we have had good times) But I was really lonely for AZ and my friends. My blog was wonderful for me because (in a kind of pathetic way) gave me something to look forward to while I was on bed rest and so forth & I did not feel so homesick either.

I am grateful for My husbands job.
We moved across country for something I was not so sure was going to be what we wanted & you to know to be honest I was never all the happy about it until when I got here and I started to slowly see the lords plan. We could not have gone through all that we went through with my pregnancy without Joel's job and insurance. & as much as I was frustrated with moving, it turned out to be a wonderful blessing for our family, one that I will look back on and say without a doubt that God was watching over us.

I'm thankful for a home.
I am grateful for our lovely duplex its had allot of work done to make it what it is today & I am so glad that we did what we did to fix it. I am thankful for all the help I had also. Could not have done it without you. Mann Its so nice to be in our own place!

I am thankful for neighbor's.
Yes, I can hear every move you make through your house but I love living next door to you because you are such wonderful, kind people. We honestly feel so lucky to have a great family to be neighbors with! :)

I am thankful to the lord for all his bounteous blessings he has seen fit to bless me with. I am thankful for the trials & the chastening because through them our relationship has grown stronger. I am thankful for the book of Mormon. I never had a truer desire to read them. I took the challenge to read it in a year and guess what? I finished it by September! I am so happy that I decided to do that, I have learned so much and grown so much closer to my Heavenly Father. :)

I realized that I had not done any posts on getting to know me so I thought I would write I few random facts about myself lame or not.

Hi my Name is Autumn Renee Fauver I'm 22 and I've been married for about a year and 6 months. I now have a baby her name is Adelynn Janae Fauver and she is month and a half (its so crazy to say that, the time has really flown!) UMMmm I love to decorate, I love a good movie night curled up on the couch, I love to shop, I love doing crafty sorts of things, I love to draw (although I don't do it enough.) My favorite things that have inspired me in the past to draw (and other art I've done) is horses. That's because I've been in love with horses, and the whole western/ country living life style that goes with horses ever sense I was knee high to a grass hopper. lol Ok umm...

One of my new found loves is photography. I would love to have the chance to take photos for others and I know someday I will. I love animals. Not in a creepy like, I- want- twenty- cats- sort of way, I want to be a vet tech. I want to help animals, whether that is volunteering someplace or doing it day in day out in a vet hospital.

lets see...I am a very opinionated person (it gets me in trouble lol) although some might not think so because I'm very shy at times. I love to do things for others, putting a smile on someones face is the best feeling ever. I love to spoil my nieces and nephews if I get the chance and I love my brothers and sisters more than anybody. Umm... my husband is my best friend has been sense the day that I met him. & I think nobody honestly could be more perfect for me.♥

Hmmm what else? I love food but 'm a picky eater & I really don't enjoy cooking much. I love to go on walks but I hate running because I have bad arches. I love the church I belong to and don't know where I would be without it. Hmmm I dream of visiting the Caribbean islands someday. I'd like to lose twenty pounds by next spring. I think christian bale is smokin and hero's and supernatural are my favorite TV shows ever. Do we have anything in common?

Lately I've noticed I've been using/ listening to the TV too much.
You want to know why I believe this? This morning I realized I would turn it on just to hear it even if I don't watch it. My mind is completely else where &&& I've started to talk back to the TV when I do, lol especially when whoopie says something ridiculous on The View. Sorry y'all I can't stand her, she's too liberal for me kthanks.
I even got excited to watch paid programs yesterday! haha for products I could never afford and is probably a waste too (except for you cricit machine I will continue to drool over you.) Its even gotten so bad that I am giving in to boredom & watching soap operas such as, "As the world turns" and "All my children"
Feels like I need to go to rehab after watching those shows.
Ohh snap. What has my life become lately?
I need to find something else to do when I am watching/feeding Adelynn cause... Dang.

I realized the other day that sometimes seeing how successful other women are at cooking, keeping up with their home, decorating, dressing fashionable etc. Sometimes I get distraught because I feel like I am doing well at something and then I see how much better somebody else does whatever it is, or manages to get more done in the week than me. It can be frustrating.

But then again, I realized as I was looking at my daughter, that I may not be very smart, not very creative, funny, great at cooking or cleaning, organizing or fashionable but I am who I am and I am grateful for my life and it does not matter what somebody else does.

I applaud others for being so excellent but I am just going to do what makes me feel good and keeps me happy. I am going to be my best happy self for Adelynn and that is good enough.

Tonight like the last few nights I've sat up with my little baby girl thinking about my life and rocking her to sleep. In my mind I was going through everything from my experiences as a little kid, up til now in my life and I was thinking about how some of my choices for good or for bad really landed me where I am today. . . I guess I bring this subject up because I find it hard (sometimes) to think about the past even though I may not have any real regrets its hard to think back because you get the bad with the good. But I also realize at the same time that the past makes you who you are, and all those lessons learned made me who I am and for that I am grateful, its just not always easy to think about. I literally thank the lord every night that even though I made allot of dumb mistakes and I was foolish that my bad decisions and good decisions = out to me having the life I have today. This song by Carrie Underwood spells out everything I've been trying to say tonight. I love this song, its called "lessons Learned" you can find it on my play list at the bottom of this page if you are interested in listening. I highly recommend it.

Labor was 37 hours with Adelynn although, I have to say it did not start to feel really bad until my water broke much later in the game. Thank goodness for epidurals they are the best!!! No offence to anyone out there who had a "natural child birth" with no pain killers whatsoever, I don't understand you. The pain killers were awesome and made the experience so much more comfortable and I was better able to focus on the labor than on the labor pains. :) I just have to say that so far in my life nothing has or will top having a child. It is so beautiful. I wouldn't say the afterbirth is lol but, having the child and seeing them after all the pain and the long months of waiting, well its just overwhelming how happy you are. Nothing tops it.
Recovering hasn't been much fun, there is allot more to it than I originally thought especially because I had not taken into account I would be recovering with all the late nights and early, early mornings but its all worth it when you see your happy baby looking back up at you.
I still have a while to go as far as recovering, I'm very tired most of the time and I don't feel like doing much except holding and feeding the baby and of course sleeping. But its getting better all the time and I'm so happy I hardly notice that I'm tired some days. Its amazing how that happens. Babies are the best.

So I just want to thank my sister in laws for their comments on my last post it really made me very happy! I love you both so much!

SOOO I found out today that I will be induced either Sunday (whenever) or first thing Monday! The Doctor is trying to get me worked into the hospital he says they have been very busy over there and so anyways he has me on "stand by" so I'm packing my bags and trying not to freak out til then! :) Man I could really use some help some female help to help me decorate the baby's room because it's really not done at all! And I'm worried. Of course. lol

Thank goodness though for my mom she organized all the clothes and hung up many things for me but I worry about the furniture and curtains etc cause they are sort of just lying on her floor not hung or put together. Oh well. I'm doing the best I can with what I got here. :)

I am oh so excited for little Adelynn to be here and she will be so little I can't believe how little she will be it blows my mind! I always thought I would have some 10 pound baby but she will be a teeny weenie little five something baby! & I've been reassured that even though that is very small it wont really affect her health. Wheew.

Anyway, Joel and I just barely got our Internet and cable set up in our home so I can blog again. Hence me on here the last couple of days! he he It has not been fun being away especially because I've been down resting allot but I have to say in that time period I've gotten allot of good out of it. Sure my life has been super quiet but I've gotten allot of reading and scripture study done. I've wrote in my diary which I've always up til now, been so bad about!

I don't know in some ways it has not been fun, but in other ways it has been great.

& I'm sure I will be missing the naps, the reading and time to myself to think when the baby is screaming for me lol. yay!

I've been away from the computer from allot of things in my life lately.
I've been on bed rest and I've been to the doctors multiple times a week for the past couple of months. thats really been my life thus far. I'm just trying to stay healthy. Its really getting down to the wire now... the doctor will let me know (hopefully) tommorrow when he will induce me.
Ahh man I just can't wait to meet our girl and I can't wait to have this stress of bed rest and worry about her health and mine to be over. I know I will find new ways to be worried, (I'm very good at that lol) but at least it won't be majorly for her health and well being. I really hope though that I don't have a long recovery because of the preeclampsia but I fear I will, just simply because they will probably put me on meds for my kidneys and liver, but hey I really can't know anything for sure.

I do know one thing for sure though and that's how much I love my Savior and how much closer I've grown to him in the past little while... I know its kind of random but I just sort of wanted to bear my testimony even if its not much. more than anything else in my life the savior has helped me to feel peace when nothing else could have. I do know that he his aware of me and my little family & our needs and he has sent people into our lives to help bless us when we needed it the most. He has done it time and time again. I have felt of his love and his love for my child and I just want to say that in my life I've never been so scared and so stressed out but I've never felt so much peace when I pray and try to have the spirit with me. I know he wants us to come unto him and when we do he blesses us and comforts us. He is just eagerly awaiting us to call on him. The lord lives and loves us and even when things don't go the way that we plan and hope for. He is always there to go though it all with us and help us to grow and understand why we are going though whatever it is that we are going though. He is my best friend he is everything in my life, I am so grateful for him every second.
I know that I couldn't have made it thus far in my life without him.

SO...

I am now a three day a week-er at my doctors office.

Lol I must come in at least two - three times a week for blood pressure checks ( & most likely getting my blood drawn too afterward.)

Not to mention the once a week actual "doctors appointment" where I get to be examined.

But he checks up on me every time anyway, I almost never go without seeing the doctor.

I must say though that I'm glad I chose the doctor I did, he's very kind and concerned and I feel like he knows who I am and is glad I'm there so he can help me.

I have allot of confidence in what he says which I can't say about most doctors I've been to throughout my life.

Anyways,

So there's the update for you...

I am actually waiting as we speak, for a phone call telling me whether or not I need to go (once again) to the hospital lab and get some more tests done.

I have a feeling I'll be doing the same tests over and over again until the very end. I really do have all the fun. lol

I learned from my last doctors appointment that I could very well have a chance at getting preclampsia. I had protein in the urine and high blood pressure and Excessive swelling of the feet and hands. So the last few days I've really tried to lay low.
I've also had a couple of trips to the hospital for further monitoring and steroid shots.
My doctor says that I just need to hang out and really stay off my feet. & so far the results have been beautiful. I will update you more as it progresses, I am praying and trying hard to keep from getting sick.

So you can totally tell I took this from my car!
but we ran out of time so I just took what I could

OK so this past Saturday Joel and drove about 30 minutes down the road to this really cute little town called Prosser. We originally planned on fishing and getting a bite to eat and possibly looking at some stores, but we got a late start and didn't go fishing at all. Bummer. But we found a really good cafe and some cute stores and ended up having a really good afternoon. I think my favorite part besides the Rustic Rooster was the candy store! We stopped into this candy and gift store called "Chuck-er Cherries" that sells chocolate covered nuts and cherries.

Joel and I had a wonderful weekend :) No we diden't get our furniture that we picked out or do anything with our new home.

but,

we did have fun getting my blood taken at a lab

and then checking out some cute boutiqe stores around town and then of course, heading for

PF changs for an early B-day dinner for Joel.

I came home with these babys!

I found them at a local thirft store, they were all an ugly brown color before... & everyone thought I was crazy for buying them but then I painted these puppys with spray paint and look how cute they are!

They will be going in the babys room cause its all shabby chic in there I just love it!
